Supplemental Instruction ProgramTAs that are part of the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program receive training and support throughout the semester to learn how to go beyond just teaching the content of their class, but also helping their students develop the academic skills necessary to succeed at UT.Academic CounselingThe graduate school experience can be challenging in many ways. Sometimes it's hard to discuss issues like professional goals, procrastination, or anxiety about writing the dissertation with faculty or staff in your own department. Students meet one-on-one with trained consultants from a variety of disciplines.
