Career Counseling by appointment

Meet privately with a career counselor for a 45-minute appointment to discuss your ideas and concerns regarding your choices about major, career, internships, or graduate school.

Here is a sample of concerns that might bring a student to career counseling:
  • "I have no idea what I want to do with my life."
  • "I want to know what careers I might pursue with this major."
  • "I'm thinking about the possibility of going to graduate school."
  • "I need to get some internship or work experience and don't know how to get started."
How to make a counseling appointment
Counseling appointments are available 9-5 in Jester A115. Call (512) 471-1217 or come by Jester A115 to make an appointment. You'll be asked to complete the Student Information Form (SIF) that you will find on the homepage of our website.

Eligibility

Career counseling is available at no charge to all enrolled or formally admitted students.
